Man, that's a heartwarming story. The US should try this. With the number of prison inmates they could solve the stray cat issue pretty quickly.
We need more stories like this.

Just before you posted this I started thinking about a topic for a story contest. Two contests, actually. One for dogs. One for cats. How did a dog (cat) change your life for the better? Or something like that. It happened to me. I'm not sure how I would run it.

Now that's facts right there. The fiat mindset will prevent cats from entering the prison because of the fear of smuggling through their butthole. I mean they'll find anything I sure hope this won't just remain a study forever..
Man this reminds me of a fiat trick: "mining is bad for the environment because it pollutes with tons of CO2". Now we'd have "cats are bad in jail because it's used for smuggling drugs in and out". Sounds the same to me, very believable for normies..
