Indeed, the price of a HW is not feasible for small stash. That's why I always recommend this guide to make your own HW: https://darth-coin.github.io/wallets/tails-hodl-cold-wallet-en.html and create watch-only / deposit wallets: https://darth-coin.github.io/wallets/deposit-only-btc-wallets-en.html
Multisig wallets, yes, are good but not for individuals... Companies or situations where more than 1 individual is involved in controlling the funds, yes, are necessary.
Normal bitcoiners: please stop complicating your life with all the bullshit around that influencers are telling you to use... x HW or y multisig service... Are all to suck your sats for NOTHING. More complex algos it doesn't mean are more secure. KISS.
If you have to choose between buying a HW to secure a 1M sats wallet, you better just buy more 1 M sats instead of a shity fancy HW...
Here is an example of 0 fucks cost of securing a wallet:
Please try to "hack" it.
As I explained so many times: spread your stash in many different places, many different wallets, 3 different levels: hold, cache, spend. https://darth-coin.github.io/beginner/be-your-own-bank-en.html
Thank me later...
Friend @DarthCoin, I totally agree with you, I hope I was understood about the fact that I PREFER THE WATCHONLY WALLET OPTION, I even thought about mentioning this option of using A USB WITH TAILOS and installing Sparrow and using BW as WOW, but I did not want to complicate the matter, although it is not complicated at all with TailOS on the USB stick and that is safe. My reflection for Bitcoin beginners is precisely to avoid, if it is their wish, wasting time on sophisticated things, when the important thing is to know when to use each tool. I clarified that I would not make tutorials or guides because you already did that part and I thank you very much.
