Hi stackers! I know that we can attach Blink and coinos on a mobile but are there more options? Please tell.

Cashu.me has worked well for me.

Sounds like the best option for this person.

No option to receive from SN though right? Afaik, cashu.me needs to add NWC permissions and multiple connections first as mentioned in this ticket.

I have it set up to receive with a lightning address.

Ohh, I didn’t know cashu.me provides lightning addresses

Yeah, they have it set up to use npub.cash. It's pretty smooth!

So far I also know that we can link Blink and coinos on a mobile. Alby requires a desktop or not I don't know.

Yes you need to run Alby Hub on your desktop or on some server (like Nodana or Alby Cloud). Then connecting Stacker News via NWC is easy!

Blink is send-only, coinos is not in this list
.
I want to receive zaps on mobile without a desktop

CoinOS uses Nostr Wallet Connect (NWC)
reply
Perhaps you should put it explicitly in the list then, with clear instructions. Those things are highly non-obvious for normal people, it would really help the transition to non-custodial.

Which wallets do you want to use on mobile? There aren't many, and we might not support it yet, but we'd like to support anything we can.
reply
I don't know. I'm asking the same question. I don't have a desktop so I want to know a wallet that I can attach to SN by a mobile only.
reply
I am using blink and coinos.
reply
Two wallets isn't my preference. I want to use one wallet for send and recieve.
reply
Your stubbornness in not using multiple wallets, will cost you more later. Learn to manage multiple apps, wallets, nodes etc.
reply
I'm not saying I won't use other wallets. Right now I hardly have a few thousand sats which I'm having inside Blink wallet.
My question is to find a wallet for mobile that I can attach with SN for both send and recieve.
reply
If you already have Blink working is enough for you then. Do not complicate things when can be simple.
reply
Can I do both send and recieve with Blink?
reply
Yes ofc. @supratic have great guides about that: #705629 To receive just add your blink LN address and you are done.
If you want more advanced thing, you can add Blink API into Alby extension as funding source and from there configure the whole NWC stuff.
reply
Okay I got it. I'll configure Blink for send and add Blink lightning address to recieve.
Thanks 😊
CoinOS is working for me.
Instructions are here, mostly: #694593
But the app has been updated since the instructions are written, so look in the comments for more details. Would be nice to be able to edit these kinds of posts, because so many changes happen.

Don't we need a computer or desktop to attach coinos with SN?
reply
Nope.
reply
And you can do both send and recieve sats with SN?
reply
Yes. Try it out and see how it goes, and ask questions here, people will be happy to answer them.

There's Albygo on mobile, but you'll need to be running Albyhub at home or pay for their cloud service.
reply
As I said I don't have a computer desktop, I just need a wallet which I can attach to SN by mobile. I can't afford the cloud fee as well.
reply
This is what I am working toward. It's taking forever to sync my node out in the desert. Not sure I'll be done by the 5th.
reply
Minibits could work for send and receive but you must find a way to keep that app alive on your mobile.
This is the main problem if you use only a mobile source: not all mobile OS will allow you to keep that "node" alive. At certain point it will simply die the service or is not feasible to keep it alive.
Find another ways to run a proper node or just use cowboy credits, are just fine.

lightning address to coinos / lnbits / alby / wallet of satoshi

I have attached the Coinos wallet. And so far it has worked! I read here on SN that it is one of the most viable options, because it is comfortable, easy to use, and you also have to keep in mind that you need a node that is always active to be able to receive Zap without having to have the Wallet open.
