As @siggy47 is already the Voice, If I'd be successful to persuade him to be the judge for November, I'll zap him 5k sats for his efforts.
I think @Public_N_M_E should be the judge, jury and executioner since he is the captain of this music ship.

Sweet emotion.

Yes, you're right. @Public_N_M_E can be the jury.
Executioner as well if he likes.

Yeah sure I'll do what I can. Don't mistake me for someone important though, I'm just the muppet sinking Sats to keep the territory afloat. 🤣🤣.
But I'd be happy to judge, I've been quite busy lately but I'll definitely try.
The problem with a judge system is that it's very subjective and is very opinion based, and yeah I do know my music and I can judge on some subjective elements it's always going to come down to my personal opinion. Which may give an unfair advantage to genres I prefer. They always say know your audience, you put something down you know I'll like, you're not sharing music for the sake of sharing music you're catering to my tastes. Which takes the open nature away. I do however recognise that the voting system isn't getting the engagement it requires to be an effective system.
I don't have the answer on how to resolve that... But what I can do is at least try a different way and see if it's successful. You're doing good work @Coinsreporter with the pools and I don't want to see them and your efforts go to waste. So if you need me to judge a competition every now and again then that's what I'll do.

I think it's slightly mistaken here about votes. This month's pool was judged on the basis of 'Top Ranks' by SN filter on the post. Top first got 100 points, 2nd 50, 3rd got 30 and the rest got 10 points each for every round of a game. At last all points are calculated and we've the winners based on this. I tried voting system the last month. If we're calling zaps as votes, it's fine.
As a judge, I don't think you'll do great. The method I'm thinking about is zapping the entries of participants in descending sats. The song that you judge as the best representation of the game should be zapped highest and you can even leave any without zapping for they were just shared for the sake of sharing.
I think it'd be better to share a percentage of sats to the judge/judges from the posts for them to zap back on the songs they think deserve to be the winners for a specific round. But, it's not your zapping alone that will decide the outcome, if a song entry recieves Stackers attention and it reaches on top, it'll be the winner. Ultimately the winner should be decided by the 'top filter.'
What do you say?

Ahhh I understand. Don't think I'll do great 😱😱😱 don't worry I'm fairly certain that was a typo 🤣🤣.
Yeah I can do that.

Thanks
Have you read the last part of the comment above?
As @grayruby said would you also like to be the executioner of the pool?
reply
No no, I don't want to take over the pool. You're doing great work with it and I hope to watch it grow under your administration.
The judge, jury & executioner is a turn of phrase which may get lost on non native English speakers.
I think that works (the last part) it's definitely worth trying out.

Yes, that's a good idea. For the judge I'll be doing a percentage for sure. As an administrator, I think it's not necessary for I kept zaps of buyin post and some days @SN_MusicPool got daily rewards, by which the pool pays fees for posts and zaps every song with 10 sats. The Pool Prize ths month is 13k sats and I've 12.5 or something in the end so it's not at loss as an administrator.
Yes, that was a typo. Sorry about that.
As a judge, I'd be forwarding you 20% on all the posts.
But, you won't be able to participate in the pool.
If we can get one more judge, I'll be forwarding 10% to each.

Sounds good. Looking forward to it.
