I'm posting this clip because I think it's an interesting window into Wall Street mainstream media's attitude towards bitcoin. I can't tell if Bachunas gets it, or if he's just an observer marvelling at the cockroach that can't be killed.

Tom Keene, on the other hand, is a pompous ass who can barely pay enough attention to get through the segment. He's mainly wondering how bad the fallout will be when the bottom drops out.

Meanwhile TalkTV legacy media it start realizing that CBDCs are a fucking nightmare. Slowly they see the truth.

CBDCs are a nightmare from a citizens rights perspective, but then fiat ain't so shit hot from that perspective anyway. CBDCs are however hugely more efficient than traditional interbank settlement of payments. Reductions in cost of payment from 2-3% down to fractions of a percent- similar to the comparison between main Bitcoin blockchain transactions and Ligthning Network transactions. So for businesses and governments CBDCs offer significant potential gains.

Bachunas gets it. He just knows very well how to talk to his counterparty. Give in just a little, before highlighting bitcoin's strengths. Distinguishing it from the shitcoins too.

At least, that's my impression.

Bitcoin the un-killable cockroach! Lol!!!

MSM talking heads are the bestest.

Just GFY, really. Realize that nobody cares about irrelevant soundbites like this. If you really have anything interesting to add (unlikely), go start your own long-form podcast

I dont know if l agree with him. You can understand bitcoin in many ways. It doesnt just have to because the government prints money uncontrollably. And bitcoin never got close to death, it was just slow being adopted.

It reminds me of all those articles declaring bitcoin dead. At least he recognizes the resiliency. The other guy? Barely interested.

reply

I remember those articles. After every bull run they would come out. When bitcoin was just stable.

reply

Some people will never get it. They will likely never have the need to understand as they're old and fiat wealthy.

Isn't it normal for bitcoin to rise when the money supply rises? This may not be what it used to be. I didn't see the clip!
