When I first heard this song a few years back, it had a deep emotional impact on me. I really love the tone of the guitar, how it fits the mood if this epic song. I love the surprises in note choice, gives me chills.

always liked whichever Beatle played this - the backward phrasing and the way it fits into the mix, and for it's brevity -
view on youtu.beWow. I sometimes forget how amazing the Beatles are..
Maggot Brain, the entire 10 minutes. First heard when I was stoned in high school and it always brings me back to a time with less responsibility and more joy...even though the song has more sad tones about the loss of a mother.
view on m.youtube.comfirst time i heard this played on a guitar hero by college mates, i was stupefied.

view on www.youtube.comin retrospect, i think i bought an electric guitar because of this song. the finger training for a song like this is pretty intense, i would do drills for an hour every night around midnight. there are many hurdles to overcome, patience and dedication is paramount.
perhaps i'll get to that project again eventually, so i can learn to play freebird and thru fire & flames.
Your technique using your left thumb is wonderful, exploring as much as possible
view on youtu.beTruly a very special moment. Comfortably Numb with a Prince tribute.
view on youtu.beGood one!
I saw this online, and it was an incredible nod from one legend to another. It was a beautiful moment.
I'm a big Pink Floyd fans and I had never seen that. Great performance.
It really is something special.
And let's not forget the top classic guitarist (spanish guitar)... Paco de Lucia
view on www.youtube.comThere are many songs but I've been listening to this daily at least 15 minutes at a low volume while meditating.
This song is Julian's magnum opus, I love seeing fellow voidz fans in the wild. If I had to pick a favorite guitar solo it would either be this one or the one earlier in the song. Though theres lots of great ones in these comments
I'm glad there is another fan here. This song is so beautiful. Julian is incredibly creative.
Noone did it better than The Eagles
view on youtu.beOne of the songs that has marked my life and that I listened to after having a breakup.
view on youtu.beGarry Moore - Still got the blues. His guitar is like a crying girl, crying for her lover.
view on www.youtube.comAt around 2:48. I feel like this started it all, and it was improvised and live.
Phenomenal guitarist. Absolute legend.
MatchlessMatchless
view on youtu.beMy daughter just told me she's tried to get me to listen to this many times, and I wouldn't pay attention until now that it's on SN.
i said what i said
Joe Satriani - Made of tears this guy is an amazing guitarist
view on www.youtube.comThis is one of my favorites for sure. Maestro Vicente amigo.
Juxtaposition of psychosis and serenity. Which is very rare.
Official soundtrack of anime Tokyo Ghoul is very soothing and relaxing.
Romanza is one of the best guitar pieces ever made. You will never get tired of listening to this masterpiece.
This is the most underrated song i have ever heard and now you will hear it too.
view on youtu.bePretty sure this won't be in here...
Eric Clapton Bad Love
Blackmore was always trying to cram another solo in the song... I think it's half the reason Dio and him split 😂
But when it worked it was a wild ride.
view on youtu.beIt's not really a solo but ...
view on www.youtube.comThe Good, the Bad and the Ugly (Ennio Morricone): A gem 💎
view on www.youtube.comHere’s one that’s hiding in plane sight. This has to be one of the weirdest, quirkiest guitar solos in a pop tune. Trevor Rabin for my vote.
