If there was ever a day to remember the Diderot Effect, it's today.
Happiness doesn't come from Black Friday deals, but misery might.
That 0.034 bitcoin looks so unaesthetic, it would look better if it could just be 0.1
That 0.1 bitcoin is looking a little lonely, I think it would look better with 0.5
That 0.5 bitcoin is not symmetric, it needs to be a whole coin to be truly made whole
That 1 bitcoin isn't enough for me to play around with lightning, I need at least 0.5 more to open channels with...
- Diderot, probably

I notice that there is a lot of buyer’s remorse going on after Black Friday. Maybe it is because a lot of purchases are done on the spur of the moment, in the excitement of the store rush. Just grab anything that is on sale and buy it. It is a good recipe for not feeling good about it afterwards.

For sure. It seems like everyone else is having fun buying stuff, so it's natural to want to join in on the action.
I think I might be immune to the Diderot Effect, but I've observed it in others.

Yeah I'm probably preaching to the choir a bit here 😅
