Not really. Muun just have a bad approach of using LN in a wallet app. That's all.
They should really reconsider re-doing the whole app like it should be: with managing LN channels not with submarine swaps that user can't control it.
That meme is for other "elements".

A miner has always been free to choose the ordering of transactions. Zero-conf was never safe, for receiving payment from someone not trusted, to begin with.
