Think about it for a second. When you went to bed last night, you had a version of yourself a set of thoughts, worries, and dreams. But when you woke up this morning, were you still that person? Or had the 'you' from yesterday already faded into a memory, replaced by someone just a little bit different?
Every day, every moment, we change new experiences, new thoughts, new choices. Even as you slept, your mind wandered through dreams, reflecting and reshaping who you are. Cells in your body were renewing themselves, time was passing, and the world around you was evolving.
So, are you really the same person? Or are you a slightly updated version a continuation, but not quite a replica?
Maybe that’s the beauty of it. We’re not meant to be static. We’re fluid, constantly growing, learning, and transforming. Still something remains a thread that ties all these versions of us together. Call it your essence, your soul, your core being.
As you move through today ask yourself, who am I right now, in this moment? And how do I want to shape the me who wakes up tomorrow?
