Haha you are falling into the same trap I made last year and mentioned on the pod about the Celtics.
I tend to agree. Magic are playing really well right now. The Knicks will likely beat them but even 10 is a lot. That should be a close game. Celtics might have to win by 30 or more to get in but I won't bet against them if they really want to do it.
Can you believe @Undisciplined wanted to trade Ingram for PG? You guys follow basketball a lot closer than me and even I know that's crazy talk.

I wouldn't make that trade for sure if I control the Pels. Just look at the stats, IG averaging 23 while PG averaging 14. But the most important stat line of all is games played, 16 vs 9. So yes, I can't believe he even suggested that trade.

He is also 7 years younger than PG

I think the biggest mistake teams make is treating guys like Ingram as though they can be part of a contender. Treating guys like PG-13 that way is only the second biggest mistake.

I think that's right but you don't solve a problem with another problem. And I don't mean problem in the good, cool way.

The Pelicans need a guy who plays like George, just in case Zion ever plays basketball again, and the 76ers need a guy who actually plays basketball.
I think they're both very distressed assets.

A lot of ifs there. And with the way Zion looking showing off his new gained man-boobs and belly lately in his tatoo video, that if Zion plays again probably becomes a big if. And even if he does play again, how long will he last before getting hurt again at this weight?
Might be good for Pels to admit defeat, admit the Zion draft was a bust, and start thinking about rebuilding. Getting PG does nothing for the Pels unless they get some first round picks along with it.

Totally fair. I was assuming that they wouldn't admit defeat on Zion.
The best course for them is to sell of everything of value and start over.

Dying on this hill is akin to me dying on the Pacers hill. Haha
I see the logic. I just don't think Pelicans would or should do it.
reply
I don't think the 76ers would either.
