The square roots are all zero because (a+2)2=(a2+4a+4).
So are the integrals, because x3 is an odd function and the intervals are symmetric around 0.
The logs simplify to ln(ea)=a etc.
Hence, we get
Since (x−x)=0, the end result must be
Looks more complicated than it is (or I'm wrong) :-)
That's correct.
The problem I had stumbled on was actually
but I thought that one would have been too obvious, so I decided to rewrite it in the way I did.
Sorry but an unrelated question I'm asking here.
Why can't I copy the equation?
Two options:
quote reply. This should give you the mathjax syntax. You can use that in any program that recognizestexsyntex.Got it. Thank you so much.
The second option would be better for me I guess. I'm technically so advanced, haha!
Don't ask ChatGPT to solve the problem for you though~~
Haha! I won't. I asked it just to gain knowledge how to use this type of formatting. I hardly understand Maths.
I actually tested just now if ChatGPT would find the final solution. It didn't. I had to push it in the right direction for it to find the trick.
I don't want to spoil it, but I'm pretty sure I have it figured out.
