There are perfectly good reasons to have multiple accounts, including trying out a different character.

I would prefer people not create fake conversations between their own accounts, but I don't really care if they do.

A good system doesn't require people to be on their best behavior, it guides them towards their best behavior.

I think it's actually kind of cool that you tested having two different accounts with two different characters behind them. I think that is experimenting not assmilking. That's quite different from someone using multiple sock puppet accounts to get extra rewards or promote their work.

Not all assmilkers are sock puppets accounts, but all sock puppets accounts are assmilkers.

ur experience is analogous to the phrase "spreading oneself thin." if u are compartmentalizing multiple personas, the effect is a compartmentalized mind that does not necessarily work as one unit. really depends how much you are spreading out and how much effort u invest into such an arrangement.

I dont know. I dont think it is worthwhile to do anything with an alternate account, but other people seem to find success. To each their own. Just not a fan of them on SN. Milking away a living on here.

I had already confessed before that when I joined SN , unfortunately, my colleagues got to know about it. I didn't want them to know my activities, so I created this one lol. At first, it would have been fine because I have always been a lurker, but I decided to open up this time and share stuff I really like. Now my main account is completely inactive, and I use this one only.

Opening up and keeping things transparent, you earned forgiveness by that. Also, it would be a huge burden to maintain more than one accounts just for manipulating a couple of sats. It's better to get a life and a job to stack sats in most productive way.

I guess you had to try something new! You discovered that it is not only frowned upon, but it does not work particularly well, either. You learned the hard lesson, then. The other folks doing the same thing will probably learn the same lesson somewhere along the line.
