Besides not exposing your node private key to the payer, is there any other benefit of using wrapped invoices?

I think you meant public key.
afaict The benefits are:
- hiding your public key from the payer
- hiding who you are paying if you're using a custodial service

I would say that you use the LSP (the wrapper node) for a direct route to your private node.
Many node runners, especially the private nodes, do not choose the right peers for their direct channels and many times end up with "no route found" when is about to pay them.
Also usually the LSPs are providing a fast LN graph sync from their servers.

You can use LSP and still create non-wrapped invoices (with route hints).
