awesome!
Keep us posted. Sorry the hear that it's loud: I was a little bit under the impression that the Bitaxe was surprisingly quiet
One man's "surprisingly quiet" can be another man's "surprisingly loud".

They are indeed very quiet if you use the right fan. Consider replacing yours with a Noctua. Also, if you need a Lightning address for pool payments, you could just use your undisciplined@stacker.news address until you’re able to establish your own node with Alby or something similar. This is what I do. It is not difficult.

Thanks. When I have a minute, I'll look into receiving through my Stacker News address.
For some reason, I was under the impression that Alby Hub wasn't compatible yet.

If your pool pays out to a lightning address you can use any wallet that will assign you a name@wallet.com formatted address. Alby will do the trick – and most importantly it's non-custodial, meaning you hold the keys to your Bitcoin. https://getalby.com

The pool only pays out with Bolt 12, which sounded like something that isn't universally supported.

Ah right. Yeah, you definitely need your own node. Search @BTCsessions videos and @DarthCoin guides for the best options and tutorials (I use Umbrel but Start9 is a good option too). With your own node you can create Bolt 12 offers using Core Lightning or Ride The Lightning.
