So if I send 1m sats onchain to boltz, I would receive 1m sats + 594 sats on lightning. Mhh, interesting, but that doesn't include the mining fee. But if I would send them ~25m, I would earn 37.5k sats:

Nice, but the rate will have to increase to make it attractive. It's easy to find ways to earn more than 1500ppm and those alternatives have other benefits on top op them (like it doesn't fill up my boltz channel and with opening a sink channel I can rebalance it for future profits).

I would be interested in this when rates were somewhere towards 3000ppm.

Big fan of Boltz. Ever since opening a channel my routing increased and it helps rebalance channels. Boltz is great !

Michael said these negative rates won't change too often. This means they mainly see flows from lightning into onchain (Bitcoin and Liquid). This makes sense, because paying a lightning invoice is truly anonymous, while getting paid doxes your node. So you don't earn free sats, but sell your privacy in the process.
