After Jan 3rd stackers should be aware of these aspects:
- how much they will pay in LN fees and what routes they used (some are more expensive)
- how much they will get a "SN tax cut"
- how much will cost them to open and get (force) closed LN channels (if they use own LN node)
- if they run their own LN node, keep an eye on your node performance. With more activity, your node database will increase exponentially, that means more maintenance. That is affecting directly your node reliability This is a warning for all those home node runners with shity RPis...
- how many failed zaps
- how many rewards will get
SN will tell you only about "how wonderful is life with p2p zaps" but will not tell you how hard is to maintain a self-custody LN node.

You are getting it wrong. CCs are not shitcoins. Are simply credits to use SN. Like WoW gold. That's all.
Why to complicate things with a crap fedi when stackers can just use CCs for pay to post?
Fedi doesn't solve anything in SN case. Just complicate it more.

nah, you misunderstood my point, or I explained myself wrong, not talking about CCs as shitcoins, of course not. i'm talking about shitcoinery content in some posts here ;)

A system like SN is not meant to use this kind of "LN zap interceptor". Too much friction for so many small zaps. People have a wrong idea about "streaming sats"... But soon they will find out.
This will have an impact in:
- how many times stackers will zap. Will be less and less. You will prefer to do a single bigger zap, one time than 10 small zaps.
- the amount they will zap. Bigger zaps will be only when is really worth it, bounties, boosts etc.
The whole era of 1-2-3-10-20 sats even everything under 500-1000 sats will be over because are not worth it.
That's why I will remain a "cowboy credits" maxi and not involve any of nodes into this "p2p zaps". For me SN remain a "pay to post". So if I remain without CCs I will just deposit more sats and use them to pay to post.

A self-custody LN node is too hard I use CoinOS! Haha
