As a Republican working for a Republican Committee (amazingly esp in the Senate some people actually cross the aisle so ya gotta sometimes say it lol) I would never want to be Trumps friend. His policies for the most part I agree with but as a person... that's not my cup of tea so to speak the way he carries himself and acts is in my opinion isn't great.
What's your opinion of Andrew Yang?

I think he has some really good ideas I do not think though he would have been good as a President at the moment. He needs more experience in managing either a huge company or an agency in the government something that is massive and has a trillion factors going on.
Policy-wise I think he is a little to optimistic but I think that's a good thing to aim high and when it doesn't work out how you want its alright

Well, as far as UBI goes, I think it's a better way to spend government money than most entitlements.
But i disagree with UBI for other reasons. it's naive to think that you can simply replace government programs with UBI.

Even with UBI, some people are going to squander their money / not take care of themselves. They'll be homeless or on drugs or whatever anyway. And then people will vote to spend money to help them, even with UBI.

So I don't think UBI can possibly be a full replacement for other government programs, even though I think it would be a better use of government money.
