I thought it was great until the last episode.
The whole show requires you to suspend disbelief but their plan at the end was so harebrained and destined for failure I couldn't get over it. Such a dumb plan no one would ever have agreed to especially when they were so close to securing the bag.
Korean grandma was the show's MVP.

After the first two episodes, I was so worried it was going to be all k-drama. I was happy they got back to the game. Still, it ended weakly.
It was as if the writer said: "People want what I want! It's perfect, I don't want to write an ending, and coincidentally(!), they want a cliffhanger! That's it. I'm in big leagues now, that's what they do. I didn't know if we'd get more than one season, so it had to be a complete story. I don't need to bother with those anymore."
It's like how a naive engineer designs a UI/UX: "People want what I want! All the guts of the internals exposed. I don't make any hard decisions - they do!"
Can you imagine what you will do if you end up, you and your wife, in that game, for real?
She loves money much more than I do, so we'd likely have very different incentives. Yet, I'm very competitive, so there's that. Don't think we'd get very far though, as a couple. It'd be interesting to figure out if I'd be able to sacrifice her or myself for either one's survival.
By the way, Silo season 2 ended up being quite the disappointment after the great first season. Guess we'll still try to finish it, but already behind 1 or 2 episodes.

I think it's worth it. She didn't.
They jumped the shark in the last episode of season 2 (which is kinda a cliffhanger towards season 3 to be released this year, also), but I didn't get bothered by it as anyhow, the whole premise is not super realistic to begin with~~
Me and my wife finished season 2 of Squid Games. We usually rate our shows similarly, but this time we got a first: I would rate it a solid 8/10, especially with the high bar set by season 1, while she has hugely disappointed. Did you see it? Did you like it? Let's avoid spoilers~~
