Is clear now that my old post #486306 about future LN topology is slowly became a reality.
IDK what is the final goal of LQWD, I still consider them quite "fishy" by allocating multiple geographical nodes with good amount of liquidity and "open" to connect to any routing node. It can be a good thing, providing good routes but also could be a bad thing, acting as a "watcher / spy".
Right now a "bad actor" cannot grab too much information about LN peers, just general info that is already public. But once they became "too big" and indispensable for many routes, it could be a problem...
Will see, I am still watching these big players.
Let's hope there's enough "good actors" around to make a positive outcome.
Greed is a bitch though so time will tell.

I don't mind if more big nodes are coming to LN to make money. This is business and routing in large quantities can provide good income if is done properly.
But I wasn't talking about that aspect.
