I personally don't hate the creation of a SBR. If you believe in Bitcoin becoming a globally accepted MoE/SoV, it was bound to happen.
I think a lot of people just distrust the U.S. government, first of all. They also distrust Trump, who clearly doesn't understand Bitcoin. Another concern is that the "strategic bitcoin reserve" will actually become a strategic shitcoin reserve, which will just end up being a waste of taxpayer money.
But in principle, I think a SBR for the U.S. and all other countries is going to be inevitable.

I've thought about MoE and I think without a government, not necessarily like the one we have right now, is not possible at full scale. Even for a minor buying from Amazon, we have pay on delivery, prepay, or other options. We can't imagine them with Bitcoin without a mediator for trust. For Trust, I believe we only trust who are accountable.
