I don't follow baseball, but if I had to pick, I would support the Blue Jays and not the Mariners. The Canadian team identity has priority over being geographically near my home.

I never played baseball when I was little, aside from the few sessions in PE class, and none of my kids play baseball, so I don't have any thoughts on tiers of Canadian children's baseball. I will share something for the Parent's Corner section of your podcast, since it's a lifestyle podcast anyways :) My son went on another ringette game yesterday, and the little guy just refuses to pass the ring. Pissed me off a bit and I really hope he learns to pass the ring. I guess the silver lining is that at least he wasn't trying to wrestle the ring away from teammates like his teammates, haha. It's fun to watch 5 and 6 year-olds try to play a game.

Please don't shit on Edmonton, the city. I was there for 2.5 days as part of my 2022 Spring Break road trip and had a blast. We spent a full day at the mall. We also brought our skates and was ready to skate on the Victoria Park Skating Oval and Trails (huge outdoor rink and outdoor skating trails), but it was too warm and skating was prohibited. We still had a blast playing snow on the Skating Oval.

So much for no major trades before the trade deadline, right? We were given a blockbuster trade last night. I think we've had plenty of discussion about this trade. Let's just see how it plays out. One thing is for sure, Luka is probably terribly pissed. I can't wait for Luka's homecoming game at Dallas and watch him cook the Mavs for 60 points or something. I believe it will happen on April 9th, 2025. Mark it down on your calendars.

As for trade expectations, I really think/hope/wish the Nuggets would make a move to better their bench and not waste another productive season from the Joker. I really hope the Nuggets realize they could definitely squeeze a couple more championships from the Joker and make moves to realize that. I agree with you guys that Joker is one of the best, if not the best, to play basketball. Nuggets really need to capitalize on that

It would be really funny if the Heat don't trade Jimmy but just keep him suspended. That means no pay for Jimmy but he can't go anywhere until his contract expires. Would be a very big fuck you to Jimmy for openly talking about wanting to be traded.
I think that's it from me. I don't know if I missed anything, as it's hard to remember everything your guys talked about while running on the snow in the cold. It was fun listening to you guys during my run, it helped make the snow feel slightly less annoying. Keep up the good work.
I could easily see Riley doing that, if he doesn't like any of the offers for Jimmy. I can also see Jimmy opting into his player option, even if he knows he'll remain suspended, just to fuck with Riley's salary cap situation.
I was actually blown away by the Edmonton Mall the first time I visited, when I was a teenager. I mean, there's a frickin' water park inside.
Both times I drove through, though, it was oppressively hot. Flat, asphalty cities are the worst when it's scorching hot. Also, on a long road trip, Edmonton is inevitably the stop right before or right after the Canadian Rockies and that's a tough comparison for any place.

I visited with my uncle for the first time in the summer of 1995 when I tagged along on his summer road trip. It was so long ago, I don't remember too much from the trip. I only remember being blown away by the size of the mall and the fact that there was a full blown water park and amusement park inside.
