Some thoughts and comments:
I think that's it from me. I don't know if I missed anything, as it's hard to remember everything your guys talked about while running on the snow in the cold. It was fun listening to you guys during my run, it helped make the snow feel slightly less annoying. Keep up the good work.
I could easily see Riley doing that, if he doesn't like any of the offers for Jimmy. I can also see Jimmy opting into his player option, even if he knows he'll remain suspended, just to fuck with Riley's salary cap situation.
Although the drama is entertaining to watch, I don't like these lose-lose situations. They should really have a sit down and talk to over to solve this instead of trying so hard to mess with one another.
I was actually blown away by the Edmonton Mall the first time I visited, when I was a teenager. I mean, there's a frickin' water park inside.
Both times I drove through, though, it was oppressively hot. Flat, asphalty cities are the worst when it's scorching hot. Also, on a long road trip, Edmonton is inevitably the stop right before or right after the Canadian Rockies and that's a tough comparison for any place.
I visited with my uncle for the first time in the summer of 1995 when I tagged along on his summer road trip. It was so long ago, I don't remember too much from the trip. I only remember being blown away by the size of the mall and the fact that there was a full blown water park and amusement park inside.
You are correct though. Edmonton does have a tough act to follow because for us, the day before is usually Mount Robson Provincial Park / Jasper National Park, and damn that area is beautiful! I think I got 2 hiking posts on that section of the Rockies, hike #6 (#379614) and hike #46 (#751977).
Are you saying you would have taken the trip to Edmonton to sit in a suite and watch the Oilers over the travel voucher? Haha
Hahaha, $4k travel voucher all day, any day. I'm not an Oilers fan, and even if I am, sitting in a suite for a game is not worth more than $4k for me.
How was this #508906 fine piece of prose not Post of the Year?
Somehow, I missed that post. Also, why was it a freebie?
Looks like things are going well for the Mavs post trade. Haha
That's nut's. Is that a single half record?
Apparently the 76ers are much better without Embiid and George.
It's crazy. Yabusele has been so good.
Don't know but that 91 looks like an ASG halftime score.
Oh my! That is very bad!
Actually, we shouldn't read too much into this one. None of the big boys played. No Kyrie, no AD, no Lively/Gafford, no Washington. Let's see how they play full strength before judging. AD had always been saying he's a 4, so with Lively/Gafford, he can go back to playing the 4 as he wish. Mavs already has a great point guard in Kyrie, AD might just fit right in and turn the Mavs into an even more dangerous threat.
I paid ek to code a bypass that allows all Leafs derision to be free.
Took a while to find it. Here is some of my best work.
Haha, excellent work!
Not exactly what I think of when I think of hockey players.
Too bad the trade didn’t take place while we were recording. I thought it was an early April fools joke.
That would have been awesome.
Dallas seems to think this is a win now move. They better hope AD doesn't get hurt.
It's definitely not a win later move.
That's for sure. I don't know much about Christie other than the fact he is young and is a bench player. Does he have some promise?
If you squint, he looks like a 3 and D guy. I'd say he's a rounding error in a deal like this.
Has @gnilma weighed in on the trade?

I'll do a reply to the pod after my shower. Just finished my runs and shoveled the snow, super stinky right now. Running in the snow is slow and cold, good thing is that it's less harsh on my knees.
Yeah, we were chatting about it a little bit this morning.
Well, we will see how it plays out.
AD seems to get hurt a lot. He’s blown a lot of my parlays leaving games early with injuries
He played a full season last year but his first in many years. Seems like a overly risky move by the Mavs.
Sports fact: The "rambling tangents" was the name of the team that won the first polo world championship in 1987.
Wow! I would have thought world championship polo was older than that.
Me too!
Nice
Great. Posted just in time for me to listen to during my second run this morning.
Awesome! Maybe you can weigh-in on the tiers of Canadian children's baseball.
