A true credit card (not prepaid or virtual) that pays bitcoin rewards will be a game changer.
reply
No. A game changer will be when peoole will fucking understand that we need to stop using fiat at all .
reply
Sure but that isn't happening anytime soon.

With your crap fiat mximalism in your mind yes, never.

You think yelling at billions of people and calling them idiots is going to get them to stop using fiat and adopt Bitcoin. You need a better strategy Darth. If Bitcoin wins it does so by taking over from within and eating fiat alive.,

I am tired of all this bullshit and people that do not want to understand. It's all fiat in your mind and without a minimal effort to change your mindset, it's all for nothing.

You see? In your mind there's not even a drop of faith that Bitcoin will win. Also says the guy that is gambling his sats on obscure indian bullshit sites LOL
coinsreporter twisted your mind entirely with his shitcoineries... what should I expect? You play with shit, you smell like shit.
I don't know much about it. Is fold the only option right now? Also I don't understand why it needs to be associated with Visa?

Eventually Bitcoin banking infrastructure will be built out and large enough you won't need to partner with Visa or merchant banks to issue a bitcoin rewards card but we are a ways away from that.
I do think there are other options but they are usually bitcoin and crypto from exchanges. Fold is bitcoin only.

Lol "bitcoin banking infrastructure"... Wtf is that ?
reply
If credit markets are going to exist within Bitcoin and whether you or I like it or not, they are going to exist within Bitcoin, there needs to be some infrastructure to enable that.
reply
I'd get a credit card in a heartbeat if it had bitcoin rewards.
reply
Fold does give Bitcoin rewards as per some stackers.

I think its just for debit cards right now, but I'm not sure.

It's handy. I have the shakepay version here in Canada. I have stacked around 350k sats over the past couple years just using it to pay for small things. I don't use it to buy anything big but I will usually keep around 100 on the card and then if I need to pick up a few things at the grocery store or pay for gas I will use it.
Used to give me 2% back in bitcoin but that was just for the first 5k spent so it is 1% now.
I'm also not sure. It's not available in India so I never had a serious thought about it.
