If they were better house guests I might let them stay.
We get them dropping on by almost every night while it is warm. The cats get a bit nervous while they are here but there is no fighting. They stop by for the water we leave out for the cats, we think. We also get possums, but they have to watch out for eagles, hawks and cars.
Yeah, they are peaceful for the most part. The stray cats and raccoons all drink from our small pond.
We wind up putting more water out every day for them. It is no problem for us. The winter is a bit difficult on them though. We also get a midnight cat serenade most nights, even in the winter. They come looking for our cats to go out and join them.
Do you have to find out where they come in, or do you already know?
Oh yeah. There's a big hole we weren't aware of.
The traps are set to catch the raccoons who are using our attic as a den. Once they are evicted it will be time to clean up.
