My idea! please take a look and critique me on any points you think may not work or may be illegal in any way.

The pitch:

Are you curious about Bitcoin but wary of the scams and misinformation lurking online? I'm thrilled to announce that I'm on the brink of launching a new service specifically designed for those of you who want to dive into the world of Bitcoin with confidence and clarity.

Introduction to Bitcoin: Personalized and Secure

We all know Bitcoin's potential, but the fear of falling prey to scams can be a significant hurdle. Many of you might have tried to learn from generic online videos or forums, only to leave with more questions than answers. That's where my service steps in!

What I'm Offering:

• Personalized Online Video Calls: No matter where you are, we can connect via video call. You'll get a tailored introduction to Bitcoin, where you can ask any question you have, from the basics of what Bitcoin is to how to safely store your sats.
• Local In-Person Sessions: If you're local, we can meet face-to-face. This one-on-one interaction ensures that you're not just another viewer but a student with specific needs and questions. You'll leave not just informed but also comfortable with the steps you need to take next.

Why This Service?

I've noticed a significant gap in the market - there are plenty of people intrigued by Bitcoin, yet they're hesitant to jump in due to the complexity and risks involved. Here's what I aim to address:
• Personalized Guidance: Unlike the one-size-fits-all approach of most online resources, my sessions are all about you. Your concerns, your pace, your learning style.
• Scam Awareness: I'll equip you with the knowledge to spot scams, understand the common pitfalls, and navigate the Bitcoin space safely.
• Non-Financial Advice: My service is strictly for educational purposes. I won't tell you whether to invest or not; I'll explain how Bitcoin works, its history, the technology behind it, and how to engage with it safely. This is not for financial advice, but for information purposes only.

How Will It Work?

• Session Booking: You can book a session online or directly if you're local. Each session is personalized based on your knowledge level and what you wish to explore.
• Content Covered: From Bitcoin's inception, how it functions as a decentralized currency, wallet security, to understanding Satoshi's idea - we'll cover what you need to know.
• Cost: There will be a fee for these sessions, reflecting the personalized, in-depth nature of the service. But remember, this fee is for information, not for financial advice or investment strategies.

Legal Considerations:

I want to be upfront about potential legal aspects. Offering a service that educates about Bitcoin while explicitly not giving financial advice should be compliant with current regulations. However, I’m keen to understand from you:
• Could I inadvertently break any laws by providing this service?
• Given my commitment to stating clearly that my service is for information purposes only and not for financial advice, what are your thoughts or concerns?

Your Input:

I invite you to share your thoughts on this initiative. Are there aspects I haven't considered? Do you have concerns about legality or the structure of the service? Your feedback is invaluable as I fine-tune this venture to ensure it's both helpful and compliant with all necessary regulations.
[Note: This post is for informational purposes only. Always consult with legal professionals to ensure compliance with local laws and regulations regarding cryptocurrency education services.]
That's pretty much it.
Thoughts??
Legal considerations
you can leave out all that pussy chapter. This IS lawful advice not legal. I hope you know the difference. This IS the only financial advice that matter.
while explicitly not giving financial advice should be compliant with current regulations
Why people are such pussies nowadays? Who gives a shit about giat regulations?
Could I inadvertently break any laws by providing this service?
Who gives a shit about fiat laws? Those laws are not for Bitcoin education. You are not giving any fiat education.
You should put a note at the beginning: my advice is to how to fuck the gov, the banks and the system. Take or leave it.

🤣🤣🤣 love it. So true

Your idea is noble. I understand that the entire concept of Bitcoin places it on the margins of legal norms—unless it’s for asset speculation, in which case you would be providing consultancy. Either way, you assume a certain level of responsibility in the minds of the people you guide.
If your goal is simply to bring in more users, I share the same objective as you: #881630. My aim is to teach and convert my friends, family, and colleagues, and then organize meetups with more people to demystify the misconceptions they have. All within my circle—or maybe even beyond it.

Obviously I'm happy to talk to friends and family but as Darth said below, I believe in a value for value exchange, where I'm charging for my time and knowledge.
I could also see a value for value layer 2 if you will, say I meet with a client and use one of Darths guides in my presentation, when I receive value I can forward some of it to Darth.
There are limitless ideas and opportunities

This is just me personally, but I don't like the idea of charging people to help them get into bitcoin.

local-in-person and video calls could take hours and hours of explanations and setups. Time cost if you dedicate all your time doing this. It's a personalized service, not a general education materials that you just post it online.
And sometimes people need specific setups, especially merchants. Merchants will always pay for the service.
It's a good initiative if they have a good target and can do many good things.

@koob correctly called me out on #885366 which further enforces my belief that as we move forward into a more AI saturated digital world, people will crave a one to one human interaction where they can verify their questions and concerns
