My guess is that a lot of them are actually just typos in the system.

Someone replied to my post the other day that 1875 is a place holder year when the year is unknown. I guess we'll find out. Regardless, I'm sure there is plenty of real fraud.

That's interesting, but how could someone receive Social Security benefits without documenting that they are old enough to qualify?
