I'm low key a bit sad about this, as it's always a bit thrilling to be featured on Stacker News Live podcast. But, actually, I'm posting in the interest of understanding how Zaprank works and as a chance to give some feedback about the show!

I do try and listen to the SNL pod every week. I'm sometimes one of the 4 or 5 people live streaming on Youtube (doesnt make me an expert, I know..) I quite enjoy the relaxed style, the subtle parody of legacy journalism and of course the personalities. Obviously, one cannot miss the most-watched Segment in Bitcoin.

I had assumed, though perhaps mistakingly, that they were using Zaprank to decide on their "Top Stories of the Week. But, while SN showed, of all stackers, me in the top 5 by Zaprank this week, my post did not make it into this evening's episode.

It got me thinking, does Zaprank use WoT score and show differently for different users (?)

Or, perhaps, i just didnt make the cut.

We usually exclude ~meta from the top 5 on the podcast but always address ~meta that was in the top 5 by zaprank later in the podcast.

They might’ve deviated from that cause I’m on a vacation.

Ya that’s exactly what it was, I told Ted to skip meta, and that’s the Top 5.

He sent me over an email just before the show with everything.

Usually @k00b does this and acknowledges the real Top 5 with meta.

Also would say if you want us to talk about a post ping me before the show and will try to cover it, especially if it’s meta. Usually prepping before the show an hour before so I will see it.

Assmilkers will come here thinking they can drain all our sats and trade them for shitcoins like tether. No, not I. Any sat received whether by rewards or noncustodially into my wallet is viewed as a gift from the gods. They all go directly to furthering the cause of the good plebs in Bitcoin.

I didn't think so. The free market rules the day, the dull and boring gets beat out by what's interesting. Haven't lost faith in SNL.

Meh, I felt as though I was (re)stating the obvious. I think I listened to Carvalho trashing on lightning twice this week and wanted to vent about it. Anyway the guys had a great rip, even in spite of @k00b being absent.

They seem to stay pretty close to the top 5 by Zaprank usually. It wasn't a particularly interesting post, more of a rant.
