I genuinely want to understand. Hypothetically, you have property, and I go to your property and assault or steal from you. I am an aggressor and therfore you can defend yourself.
Can you lock me up as defense? How about torture? Where is the line according to natural law?
Can you lock me up as defense?
What are you doing nowadays? You pay taxes with the hope that a central authority will defend you (they are not). Appeal to somebody else as authority is not the right way to defend.
So instead of that why don't you just hire some private defense contractors. Will do a much better job than any police or gov.
That's how you "deal" with bad guys, under natural law: CONTRACTING services.

I understand. But can the private defense put someone in a private jail?
reply
Why would you need that? The contractor must protect you before they do any harm to you... otherwise there will be a breach of contract and they will be the ones to pay.
The key word is: RESPONSIBILITY.
reply
Wouldn't you want to put a murderer in a jail?
reply
No, will be a waste of resources. You deal with it in another way.

Take them out back and put them down like old yeller?
