Iโ€™m so impressed by Yappari Steak that I want to be conferred as its Ambassador, like how I got myself to be a Fukuoka Ambassador. It ticks all the boxes on my dinerโ€™s checklist, which is frustratingly complicated, because I have a native Japanese wife and two young kids whose eating preferences mix like oil and water. The highlights: ๐Ÿ’™ Decadently sizzling steak ๐Ÿ’™ Free flow of rice, soup AND salad (if you order the set) ๐Ÿ’™ Various sauces for you to vary the flavouring you delight your tastebuds with ๐Ÿ’™ Plate of myriad fries to excite fussy kids ๐Ÿ’™ Two childrenโ€™s meals (karaage OR hamburg) if your kids donโ€™t live on potatoes ๐Ÿ’™ Orion draft beer to take the edge off a hard dayโ€™s worth of parenting ๐Ÿ’™ ๐Ÿ’™ Approachable staff (at least those from the Northpoint outlet) ๐Ÿ’™ Reasonable prices (and you earn Fraser points!) ๐Ÿ’™ Soothing songs by Okinawan artistes to teleport you from the stresses of ultra-packed Singapore living
So happy that I drank two glasses of Orion beer. My kids devoured their Yakult - glad that thereโ€™s something for everyone!
Why does every single food post you make look so delicious!

What's delicious? I don't see any ants for you in it.
reply
@cryotosensei keeps a salt shaker full of ants for me so I can season my food with them.
reply
Thai people (at least, the villagers in the village I stayed at) keep a red ant nest and eat ants with rice
Shudders
It was a hard meal to get through
reply
Sounds delicious! OK in reality though, I wouldn't eat bugs. ๐Ÿคข
reply
Would you eat escargots?
I love them
