Watching TV before the rest of the family wakes up. Time to savour a good cup of coffee. Beer on Friday evening. Seeing my children sleeping. A rare karaoke outing.

apart from spend time with my family, my selfish FIAT indulgences are fast/good cars. Despite not spending much on them, i recon i could spend way less... But that feeling of mechanical power definitly uplift my mood..

Let’s say you have concentrated on one thing and done deep work on that…would you still feel kinda unfulfilled because of your preference to do many things?
I think I’m like that. Greedy for deep work n variety

Sunshine. Smiles. A good meal. A good workout. A great chat. Really depends on the situation, I guess. But the first two are universal for every occasion. Oh, and dogs. Gotta love the dogs.

I’m a dog person, too

When cat jumps on lap to force me to take a 5-10 min break, shutting off my brain and just pet and scratch for a bit.
Trail hiking under the shade of trees when forest is dense enough yet the temperature is just perfect and mosquito quantity is minimal.
Lastly I was always a night owl, but there's something special about getting tired at 8-9pm due to physical activity all day, and sleeping then. You can get a full length sleep and still wake up with the sun at 4-6am. Very much enjoy the feeling seeing as it's rare that I'm up that early without the lack of sleep fuck-my-life grogginess for company

I agree that very few things in life are worth more than waking up feeling recharged n ready to take on a new day’s worth of challenges

¿What do you usually watch on television? 🤔📺

Before I looked a lot on TV, however today I do not feel that everything is on my phone.
reply
These days, I have been watching documentaries into the plight of various countries produced by a local channel called CNA Insider. I kinda like learning about how other people are struggling to survive and trying their best to overcome the odds
reply
A great idea, it is always good to be aware of how the other realities outside ours are. It helps us appreciate what we have is much or little in the end is depending on who measures it.
The documentaries are fascinating. Since childhood I worshiped animals and nature, and those of the universe. I could look at the same time without problems hahaha the same at that time was with VHS haha (you just had the one you had until you could change, buy or rent another so you looked many times)
Lately and seen some where people in Mexico live with the theme of the posters, between fear and shootings. Amazing the truth
Recently, look another where they rebuild stories from the Nazi era to appear from newspapers that were found, they narrate from the perspective of some German supporters of Hitler and others who did not follow him. Also of some Jews. Sincerely enriching and shocking, they never cease to surprise me the documentaries of World War II.
And the most fresh I have seen, was from some Mennonite communities in Argentina. It is incredible to see how they live fighting over the years and the advances of technology. clinging to a faith and religion that is quite strict. A quite particular lifestyle.

A good walk in nature with no noise except birds. A long deep chat with someone I care about. Music that hits just right. Finishing something I’ve been procrastinating on. Oh… and definitely coffee in absolute silence before the world wakes up.
reply
And how do you drink your coffee, sir?
Do Brazilians drink coffee in the morning?
reply
I live in Brazil, but I'm not Brazilian, I'm Cuban.
We Cubans have the custom of drinking coffee in the morning and in the afternoon.

Now I know!

I've been considering picking up a "slice of life" manga lately. I haven't read one in years, and it's definitely not my usual genre, but I've been trying to add more uplifting and relaxing things to my routine. Gotta find one with no Oni babas though.

Good to shake our routine up once in a while.
