Yes but there is a difference between the value. 4K bitcoins is a lot of value so it’s worth spending significant money/resources on tracing it while tracking a regular user with say 0.5bitcoin is not worth doing.

The current situation is terrible. Half of the time I try to zap on SN it fails and I need to reconfigure.

I would hope that Bitcoin will become the global settlement layer that everyone hates but only thing that everyone can accept because nobody controls it. What can be done to help that future to happen? Or at least permissionless on/off ramp to Bitcoin.

It’s easy to see when other people do stupid things and waste their energy. Good reminder that we all likely do that sometimes: when the reality tells us we were wrong, and instead of adapting we double down.
