Listen to past to understand present..so actually, in my opinion, LN isn't still ready for mass adoption...Yeah, one year later we have a more stable and powerfull product but the same problem from this interview are still here..You have to consider also operator side and not only user side..

Yes, beacuse witness with segwit is out of transaction so the hash doesn't include it anymore. Witness is the only part of the transaction that could be changed...so it fixes "this bug". But in my opinion it's important know everything about Bitcoin
