I was inspired to come up with this idea after reading @Jon_Hodl's post ([*Driving More Users To Stacker News*](https://stacker.news/items/805212)).

I wonder if @k00b has ever thought about selling the ~bitcoin territory. I bet there are tons of people who'd be interested. What if we threw a big event and had an auction? We could do a Dutch auction, where the price starts high (e.g. 100M) and keeps going down until someone bites. Whoever says 'Yee-Haw' first gets the land. It would be a great way to get some marketing to SN.
