Slow. It's part of my long game of getting more women (who comprise most of my audience) into Bitcoin. Introducing them to LN is a fun and easy starting point.
This. I don't stress about WoS or my other custodial lightning wallets because I don't keep more than a few bucks on any of them.
My senior capstone course for interdisciplinary studies focused on the problems with fiat money and promoted Bitcoin as the "fix the money, fix the world" solution to social justice issues. And by social justice, I mean poor people under authoritarian regimes in third-world countries and not blue-haired obese people being misgendered. My professor was adamant that governments only make things worse and that people need to take control of the money.
The biggest problem is that most "fitness gurus" (male and female) are products of steroid and HGH abuse while the programs and advice they're peddling are bunk if you're not juiced. You can totally shed fat and maintain muscle by cutting out carbs completely if you're injecting synthetic testosterone into your body. Otherwise, you'll catabolize lean mass no matter how much protein (and adults don't need that much protein) you consume. I speak as someone who juiced consistently for a decade, so I know all the tricks. Everything they preach is misdirection from the truth at your expense.
I agree with the sentiments about using Lightning and Liquid for this purpose. I see coin mixing services as outdated with surveillance technology catching up and believe that the Wasabi drama is the beginning of the end for all of them. The arguments I'm now seeing on Twitter in favor of coin mixing services are a mix (pun intended) of fear-mongering and personal attacks. That's always a sign of a failing enterprise.
The more I research coin mixing services, the more skeptical I am of their efficacy. Especially when service providers/supporters go on the offensive when asked legitimate questions. Personally, I'll just keep my KYC and non-KYC Bitcoin separated.
