Do you have a source to suggest the above is incorrect?
So you don't use any fiat currencies at all? I think that's pretty impressive and noble if so but I personally categorise a shitcoin as crypto tokens such as Doge or Solana.
I think there is a difference between a potential future Secretary of the Treasury using USDT and crypto tokens and was curious if when you call him a scammer and a commie if its because of the crypto? As that would give me a very different view on him.
The Family Man.
Not many have seen it I find and some argue it’s not an Xmas movie but I feel like it is.
Great presentation! Everything is about incentives and tuning them correctly will play a major role in the success of SN.
Am I naive for thinking this has legs? Blackrock and Fidelity are amongst the largest shareholders..
I grew tired of bitcoin related podcasts many moons ago. I think it’s because it’s all been said before in most cases. Sometimes there will be an interesting guest on the What Is Money Show I will listen to.
Finance related I like The Memo by Howard Marks (listen to all of this one) and The Human Action podcast. But I mainly listen to football (not the American one) podcasts.
I love how they draw the line at bitcoin. Land owners are draining the economy more than ever and have been doing so for 100’s of years. The tax code incentivises it. They are the main cause of homelessness, yet no politician seems to care.
Bitcoin doesn’t cause people to be homeless, only for your economic energy to travel with you through time. Apologies for opting in as they inflate away your energy through their paper nonsense.
Habits are easier to form when they are easier to do. But maybe you’re correct, it ultimately would need to be tested to conclude if you are however.
I wouldn’t consider it major either as the code change wouldn’t be significant. I don’t know the code but I would assume a simple JavaScript adjustment to utilise the entire <div>.
I honestly always forget to zap.
I wonder if there could be a UI improvement to make it even easier to zap? What if we could double tap anywhere on the comment to zap as opposed to the small bolt? Similar to liking an Instagram post.
It’s a tough one, the 90’s for me personally is my favourite decade for movies.
Either The Matrix or True Romance would be my picks.
Late question! Maybe you reply 😆
2 questions for somebody about to land in Tokyo:
1 bar I should visit
1 restaurant I should visit
I go play 5-9 holes of golf.
Gets you outside and among nature, you walk 5-10km and sometimes after a hole, you feel you could still make the PGA tour 😆
I am always in pursuit of boredom, it makes me do things I put off.
The best thing I have done in recent times is screen time (with a password only my partner knows) all the major distractions I have on my phone.
I find my self more bored and as a result productive than ever.
I know the end goal is much larger adoption of SN. But having it feel like a little corner of the internet yet to be discovered feels very 90’s and pretty cool.
What is the rebuttal from all the gold bugs? There centralised party is more reputable?
Gold is a shit coin. I actually did buy some a couple of years ago and all it did was further confirm its shit coinery.
