Not to be insensitive but the fire at Notre Dame may not have caused such extensive damage if it was sprinkled. There are ways to maintain aesthetics and "hide" protective systems. Water damage sucks yes but you still have a building at the end of the day.
You could just build out a NAS and self host your media/files. Be your own cloud & if you have the space and upload/download speeds rent some space out and accept sats for storage
I missed the block size wars, so I'm curious how much VC money was in the air then. With the increased funding for bitcoin companies how will CEOs defend choices when they lose control or face legal action.
With possible ETFs which side will these companies take in a hard fork to defend their assets and balance sheets?

There's a silver lining to this, to my knowledge BTC is classified as a commodity similar to gold. To continue with this investrthe Canadian Government would have to officially declare bitcoin as money. I appreciate all the work that Nodeless has done to help simplify payment processing for users but I have to also thank them for putting this issue on the governments radar.
