yes, I also got to see how to make shawl from wool. ๐โ๐ฝ
The things they invent are never as good as the things they are copying from nature.
yes! better learn how to adapt and thrive with nature than trying to control or copy.
Was being shown around lately, and experienced getting water from the mountain, fish from the sea, nuts from the tree, picking pumpkins and veggies from the garden, ate butter made from fresh milk...
Nature gives us everything we need, yet people are so busy inventing from the lab.๐ฎโ๐จ
it's really interesting how people living in the villages are so kind and giving, yet people living in big cities, "the so-called seemingly fiat richer," yet most are so self-center and selfish.
it turned out that there are many places are so well hidden, in a sense that if not being shown the path, no way one would find it. ( def not even on Google map) yet the modern ones can't help to show EVERYTHING of their home and life.
its funny to see how small these naturally grown are, and how big the ones being sold in the supermarkets ๐๐ฎโ๐จ
it's funny because I was quiet tired and about to leave and then he mentioned about Bitcoin, then I got energy again ๐
it's crazy -- I'm hanging out in the middle of nowhere, in a village with about 300 ppl, but full of beautiful stone and wooden houses ๐ then I randomly met someone, and he invited me to have breakfast with his family and then show me around, long story short... and he asked whether I know about Bitcoin because we were talking about inflation, I was shocked...
I'm amazed how the elders who are in their 70s can climb the mountain up and down like it's nothing, and I asked their secret on how to stay healthy and have such energy; they said eating natural food ( grew in their own garden ) and living low stressful life, but the most important thing is to keep being active.
reminded me of a quote from Naval: โI like to think that if I lost all my money and if you drop me on a random street in any English-speaking country, within 5, 10 years I'd be wealthy again."
read a few posts saying how Bitcoin gives hope, which is great! But I also discovered a new way to have faith in humans again, moving out of big cities, then you might be spoiled with kindness:)
And Bitcoin/money is only one of the ways to exchange value from others, then it's not about Bitcoin anymore, it's about having real skills and can trade with Bitcoin or anything else that you lack.
why are we being fed the idea that ppl living in the village are poor and under-educated? I just adventured in the middle of nowhere and might even be one of the first few foreigners to step foot there, yet people are so kind and giving, and local women are so skilled, amazing!
and not to mention those houses, omg...they blend in perfectly with nature, built with stone and wood, and they stood for hundreds of years!
keep having an open mind, everyone can teach you something you don't know, even the staff from restaurants, in fact they could be one of the first ppl to ask if you want to have local tips when traveling:)
I like how they are being sold like this, instead of being well packaged and sitting in a supermarket for a loooong time.
