Great list. One concern: I checked out CoinsFer which offers to pay utilities in the US. They make the claim that taxes won't be owed if you pay them to make proxy payments for you. My understanding of current US tax law is that a payment to CoinsFer would be a taxable event, and taxes would be owed on any gain on that bitcoin.

Well, it is and it isn't. This is a tough one to crack. How do you build roads, schools, playgrounds etc. if there is no money in the coffers? On the other hand, the current taxation of bitcoin is just insane. Some countries, for example: 30% tax. That is ridiculous.
