I just came here from reddit. I think this platform has more to offer about the lightning network + bitcoin. Looking forward to learning more about tipping, and stacking some sats myself. I have a few lightning channels open on my node, but haven't had any routing through them yet. Hope everyone had a great holiday! J

What is the minimum threshold needed of sats earned in order to qualify for a portion of the pool distribution?
I have made a few comments/ posts and received sats for them on several different days, but did not qualify for any portion of the pool.

I try to keep all my whole digital life ad-less, it's a bit of a pain, but it's worth it.
Google is probably the hardest to get totally get rid of, but you can start with grapheneos which is Android without Google, and then add open source software for whatever you use.
For desktop you can of course just run Linux or BSD and you'll be golden.

Same here, they are terrible for privacy and security. Always been a fan of Gorhill and uBlock Origin. I run a minimalist Alpine Linux for my desktop with a pi-hole running on the network.

I am a bit upset. The EU has made new rules forcing pension plans to invest at least 15% of the capital in "green energy" so basically 15% of a pension will be thrown in a dumpster fire and prop up that agenda so that in a few years enough people will be dependent on it and there will be support to increase it to 30% so on so forth and it will produce nothing except food on the table for the climate fascists at the expense of everyone else. They will consume everything the way things are going.

All UK pension plans were nearly wiped out back in November, and were bailed out by the Bank of England. The problem was in the government bond market (I forget the exact details atm). With so much sovereign debt, existing EU pension plans won't last long enough to receive a 30% green energy requirement. Plus, when this depression really gets swingin', a lot of people will have bigger problems than not getting to retire.

I only joined reddit in the last year. A lot of nonsense on that platform. Was it ever of any value? I think Stacker news has a lot of potential.

I joined Reddit in 2010 and I found it useful back then. But by 2014 at least, it had lost most of it's utility. Almost entirely noise.
