Ahhhh!!!! Maintaining a cowboy hat in the eastern hemisphere is soooo hard. I can’t seem to keep it for more than a week. Is this by design? Are you rooting’ tootin’ wild westerners discriminating with your time zone selections?!?
I’ve seen a lot of critiquing sn articles recently and just wanted to throw my…oh wait, I can’t do that now. Hahaha

For context. I don’t care about his shit posting or him thinking I am fiat maxi. While he begs friends and bull bitcoin to pay his fiat bills. But the name calling is disrespectful.
reply
the name calling is repetitive and childish
at least use some new memes and talking points

The nice SN feature is that you do not know who and when they downzap you... That's why I downzap all your posts about fiat maximalism... Can you do that with all my posts about bitcoin maximalism? Let's see how you can handle it more... Go ahead, spend your sats on my shitposting... hahahahha

Did anyone else see the boobs on youtube today? It went viral. 2M views. I got the video recommended to me. Clearly an AI generated image. Maybe an adversarial attack, the type of image designed to not be detected by automated moderation? Kind of crazy. Maybe a new technique to get videos to pop off?
For context, It looks like they changed the thumbnail, but when I first saw it, this video's thumbnail consisted of an AI image of 6 naked women.
reply
I haven't seen boobs, but YouTube is really annoying me with all these scantily clad women in YouTube shorts. I keep turning off shorts, but you can only turn it off for 30 days at a time, the absolute assholes
reply
Wait... they actually don't tell you you're a bot? I can't even watch embeds anymore. I have to copy the url and download it through repetitively switching tor circuits until I get one they didn't block.
reply
Haha I guess my YouTube behavior is normie enough that they haven't flagged me

reply
130 sats \ 7 replies \ @Car 27 Oct
use to be a saying in 2018 bitcoiners used as a way of saying "few understand this, very few....few" it then became just "few" now we as bitcoiners will say a statement like...

1sat=1sat
few

I don’t think few is a bitcoiner thing
It’s part of general internet culture

If you are proposing an emergency fork that you want to activate petty much immediately and that fork probably confiscates funds...you don't understand Bitcoin.

Even worse: if your justification for such rash action is merely to make people do something in a slightly different manner to create a legal excuse:
I don't think you are even talking about Bitcoin anymore. Go use Visa.

The funny thing about Halloween is we give out candy and then the kids come home with basically the same candy as we gave out, and then we proceed to not eat it because that much candy is unhealthy. It's probably one of the most wasteful economic exchanges that we do every year.
Why can't kids just walk around the neighborhood and sing carols or something?
reply
I bet this is one of those things where a series of obvious improvements were made to a beloved tradition that ended up ruining it.
Beginning: Each household prepares a unique treat for the kids in the community to come collect in their homemade costumes.
Middle: Just buy mass produced candy because that's cheaper and it's what kids want more. And just buy a cheap mass produced costume of something from pop culture because that's more exciting to kids.
End: Buy exactly the candy you want and eat it at home wearing whatever you feel like.
reply
End: Buy exactly the candy you want and eat it at home wearing whatever you feel like.
Every day can be Halloween!
Also, I find it to be an interesting sociological observation that Halloween is the closest thing to a universally socially approved event for the neighborhood to engage in, now. Not Christmas, not Easter, not even the 4th of July, really. Seems like the postmodernists have done such a bang up job of dismantling every truth claim that the only common social touchpoint is one that is explicitly make-believe.
reply
Yeah, none of those other holidays are as big of neighborhood events.
Easter and 4th of July are reasonably big community events around us, but not where the whole neighborhood is going house to house.
reply
It's kinda fascinating too that "fandom" is increasingly the thing that people unite around. Since we can't unite around shared truth, we unite around something we all agree to be false!
I feel like @kepford would be interested in these thoughts, haha
reply
We can unite around the shared truth that K-Pop Demon Hunters slaps

Day 669 of posting mining earnings from the day before: 452 sats on 26Oct2025! Running total: 431,898 sats!
thot of the day: Bitcoin as money is a huge cope; trust in society is at its lowest, so people have put trust in some open-source code; same as with the Bible: people don't trust themselves and turn to the Bible hoping to find answers;
however, the answer is always within! once u find the answer in the ethereal realm, go back into the physical world (or even the Bible text) and look for confirmations that ur solution is correct;
the least one can do is stop doing some wrong actions; here is a short list of the true 7 deadly sins:
thou shalt not commit...
  • murder
  • assault
  • rape
  • theft
  • trespass
  • deception
  • coercion
it wud be nice to embed all of the above into bitcoin and enforce them, but that's nearly impossible; at least bitcoiners got the "thou shall not steal" figured out; indeed it is very hard to steal satoshis from each other while living in accordance to the protocol rules; i wud argue that the uncensored quality of bitcoin is also a deterrent of deception (in combination with other open-source communication tools like nostr);
once they understand what are the definite rights and wrongs, strong brave men in the physical world shud be taking care of the rest of the crimes!

Was sharing with a parent’s group various mnemonics that I use to teach Science, including my painstakingly curated creation McDonald’s Really Shiok (Muscular Circulatory Digestive Respiratory Skeletal). https://diaperfinancingfund.blogspot.com/2024/07/abbreviations-in-science.html?m=1
Directly after me, another parent shared not one, but several mnemonics, of which Pandas Fart Smell Gases (Pollination Fertilisation Seed dispersal Germination) really tickled my fancy. Just the kind of low-brow humour that 11-year-olds will love. I can already imagine their uproarious laughter!
Well, Sensei is gonna need all the help he can get because 7 out of 19 students failed their year-end exam today. My pride is on the line!
