Hey everyone, for research purposes I am trying to build a directory of guides for attaching wallets on SN.
If you know of any guide, or if you know of an existing directory or list, can you post the link here? Will zap 100 sats for every unique guide posted.
Thank you!
EDIT: I explicitly also want old outdated guides! I am doing this for research. I want to see if there is an uptick in wallet attachments after a guide is posted, using historical data.

you did a good job, also attaching probably the first guide I took inspiration from and the minibits one.
Most of them are already outdated, lol!
reply

Can't believe it's already more than a year since I wrote it

SN has changed a lot in the few years I have been hanging around.

how has it changed, would you reckon?
i think it's changed too but i can't quite put my finger on how

Territories were not around 3 years ago when I joined and I would say 90% of the conversation was about bitcoin then. Obviously the non custodial wallets thing was a big change as well. Many of the regulars are still around but I think we have lost a lot of OGs.
Honestly I think the whole ethos around Bitcoin has changed not just on SN. I think we are in a weird phase where it is still kind of early but not too early, but not ubiquitous yet. People are less obsessed with Bitcoin and it is just more a part of their lives now.

I’m still obsessed haha

We should all aim to be as dedicated and obsessed as you Blok.
yeah i wonder where some of them went. maybe life got busy, or they lost interest in bitcoin, or SN got boring for them

I edited my comment to add a thought on that.

oh. great idea! I remember my research when I picked a wallet for SN. it would be amazing if these guides would have a dedicated area here in SN.

All the other guides might be outdated because of the big wallet update @ek did.

Ah okay, sounds like a good analysis. Good idea!

The only attaching wallets should be only users nodes and NONE of other custodial bullshit.
Also a reminder:

I have to agree with this, if SN really want to promote financial sovereignty and incentivize users to self-custody. But there's also the fact to consider that more wallets connect to SN, the more SN node route transactions, especially now with the micropayments update.
