Howdy there, partner! Welcome on into the Stacker Saloon.
Saddle on up to a stool and spill the beans about your day, fire away with them questions, or let loose and give us the lowdown on your wild and woolly life. We're all ears, so don't hold back!
We're open round the clock, so mosey on in whenever you please!
Truth it isn't about what you want it to be. Truth it's all about what it is. You either adapt, or die.

@DarthCoin and SN mention in #1289717 at 42:29:
A minor complaint to my team is that I have to log into Facebook again, but it's a smart move. DarthCoin on Stacker News was critical of the choice of Facebook news because: who uses Facebook?

who uses Facebook?
mostly scammers

Wasn't like that in 2006!

so Spiral still live in 2006 ? No wonder that pdf they made for merchants lack of good information about how to onboard them. They put an obscure wallet but not a single word about Zeus or many other good wallets and solutions, like I mentioned here

Of course not, but I do think that small businesses are, especially outside of the US/EU. I'm not disagreeing with you on the point though, we agree; I think every popular once-pristine platform enshittifies into hot zones of frivolity: I feel the same about Reddit, Twitter, GitHub. These become the weak links.
I do agree with Steve that you have to meet people where they're at, but the question is: what then? When are we getting them off FB/Insta and send them the Zeus PDF and your guide? Maybe that's a different narrative? A second conversion?

Meet F2F with them. Print some nice flyers to give and invite them to a meetup in town:
Give them multiple choices that adapt for each specific activity.
But if you look into that page is mostly crap info.

Alright. I've added a todo to make a playbook for next time I'm on one of the islands where they really need Bitcoin, and test this tactic. Let's just do it.

Yikes!! I think he’s being a bit over the top. As a user of keychain (where I only talk to myself) the app is easy to login. But sending messages was very confusing at first

Our login is indeed hidden which I should’ve fixed once that experiment ran its course. I’m not sure why we’re a point of comparison though.

How long does being outlawed last? It’s been about a year.

I guess it was that post that got me banned, I’m not sure, and wasn’t as long ago as I thought. Thanks for the reference, I’ll check it out!
