CCs are just like any in-game currency credits. That's all. And those that came to SN with the bullshit idea of earning sats will attach WoS or any other crap custodial account. So literally they exchange CCs for another CCs.
What would happen if everyone adopt your approach and use exclusively CCs?

Not for me. I am perfectly fine posting using CCs and I almost no need to buy new ones (minting). Why? Because CCs are like a circular economy INSIDE SN. This is the part where most of stackers do not get it.
I do not have to take out my sats (CCs) from SN, I just reuse them to post more. That's all.

Yes, definitely, but SN as registered business was at risk. That's why CCs came. Should then SN just sell CCs for sats, remove rewards, and allow only custodial solutions to be attached? What else from your CC-maxi perspective should be done to bring back the initial SN bitcoin-only flavor?

I will repeat: CCs are good for SN. Yes, SN is a game and needs an "in-game currency". And paying those credits with sats only is perfectly fine. But most of people still do not understand this game.

In a Bitcoin world EVERYTHING is a "must pay" service and not assmilk.
And that's why I always said:

Sats aka BITCOIN that’s used in real time on social media is the innovation.
Cowboy credits are Chucky Cheese tokens they are NOT money.
People come to Stacker News for value… because their time is valuable and they want higher quality discussion that’s rewarded with SATS. SATS are the innovation not chucky cheese tokens or ‘YouTube likes’.
SATS are an early implementation of the Lightning-based economy they are, if imperfect, the entire point.

The 1cc=1sat conversion has been proved valid only when buying CCs, otherwise, like anything else, they loose value in the moment they are minted, -30% for stackers, -9% for territory founders. Amounts that SN partially take as profit and redistribute across community members.
SimpleStacker made an extensive analysis on the behavioral dynamics reflected in the data, despite this, I struggle to see SN exclusively running on CCs. With your approach, are you suggestion cc-sat pegging to be removed? What would happen if everyone adopt your approach and use exclusively CCs?
