The alwaysworking strategy of diversifying, it's a great solution, and you're covered in any weather condition. This BluettiPower solution (italian brand built in the US?) + solar will cover your needs for most of the year, I guess. Then you just need to make sure the flow of water does not freeze in wintertime.
Planting a garden and fruit trees sounds like a good long-term plan. So are you planning to live there full time at some stage?
italian brand built in the US?
hahaha no, don't fall for the italian sound like name. Is pure chinese brand like almost all you see on the market. Everything is chinese...
Check this out
Chinese are making fancy names companies as brands and selling at extra prices.
So are you planning to live there full time at some stage?
TOTALLY. Until now was just preparations. It was just an abandoned terrain with nothing on it just vegetation and pasture for cows, that now I convert it slowly into a homestead.
lol, I've been working for such western fiat companies to create these valuable brands and marketing crap some time ago. Anyhow, it looks like a solid product to be chinese. Most things have been made in China until now, I feel things are going to change soon, if not already on that path.
I am not saying that is not a good product. That's why I want to go for this brand.
That video explain it quite well, where is the problem.
how about...
what is even more interesting to these Bluettti power stations is that are NOT using Lithium, but Sodium-Ion phosphates. That means you can charge them at 0ºC and have longer life than lithium ones. Also less probability to get on fire.
In regards of the last week discussion, I think I found a simple solution for my offgrid electricity setup.
A central device like Bluetti (power bank, AC/DC converter, stabilizer etc). Is practically an all in one and quite cheap and can be charged from solar and hydro, in the same time.
Then 2 solar panels 36V for charging during the sunny days.
Then a small hydro turbine that will charge 24/7.
If the consumption will reach the battery limits, can be upgraded with an additional one easily.
If the consumption will be too low, then I can plug a BTC miner and boil the fucking oceans.
But this project I think I have to delay it for the end of the year or early next year. Now I have other small tasks to finish and also preparing the garden base for the next year, planting some fruit trees, grapes vines etc.
But yeah once I install the electricity system, I could start working on the 2nd bigger house. Until now was just experimenting and learning.
