Some kind of inclusion so you can circulate your own downzap sats? I'm sure that king downzapper from these past few days would appreciate the cashback. To suppress more posts and be a more efficient oligarch.

I say make them pay.

I believe that is why we haven't included downzap in reward ranking thus far, but it means that downzapping is entirely altruistic.

In the case of the recent wave of bots, it'd be nice if there was a way to incentivize hunting them down and downzapping them.

@DarthCoin is always tagging plankers and shitcoiners with memes in their bios. It is indeed useful and fun lol.

How about we start upzapping and downzapping profiles? So downzapped profiles will need to create much better content to be able to rise on the LIT homepage.

New account costs nothing. Doesn't scale.

I don't get how is that related? Stackers are already scored, so downzaps could lower the profile score and upzaps will increase it.

Because all the bots will get negative score, create a new account, start at 0. All they do is fish for sats by accident or by trick. So all you need is some visibility. First comment on a post is the top comment for as long that it is the only one.

Ok, so at this point even muting all these bots becomes useless then. How about signups limit for each IP?

http://snsnsnya6h3ot563f3p566wuhfoklkg5f62hokdlaqzcaub3gf4xlxyd.onion/ knows no ips. Plus VPN. Plus pay-per-second VPS. Totes gameable.

I think muting is, from a self-protection standpoint, the most efficient. From a community protection standpoint, upzapping good comments probably is more efficient than downzapping bad ones; at least that is what k00b convinced me of until I see otherwise (which honestly, I don't): #1431816
