I think I know people who don't really care about voting, but might toss a vote that way like a lotto ticket. I also know people who devoutly believe in trump -- but they will already vote that way and don't need to be swayed by money.

There could be more than one person, who like myself, has no send wallet attached, is a cheapskate, but occasionally will send 10 CCs just to say they liked the comment. Maybe I change mine to 13. I'm not instant in my zaps though.

But the weird part is that it doesn't seem to zap everything. It feels a bit haphazard in what it chooses to zap. But when it does zap, it's always 10ccs and it always happens pretty soon after I post.

Today I was a bit annoyed by all the tiny things I needed to solve, but I decided to go out for some fresh air.
Someone got on the bus I was on and asked where the empty seats were, and people guided him. Then, as he was passing me, he asked, "Is it empty here?" Actually, people were guiding him to another seat, since men generally don't sit next to women here, especially with other empty seats available. As he was sitting, he kinda bumped into me because he couldn't see. Later, he apologized because he didn't know I was there.
I was really curious: how did he even navigate? He was typing and listening to his phone for directions, he also called his family. I was really amazed because he had such positive energy, and I don't know how much it takes for him to navigate life without being able to see. I got quite emotional in that moment and wondered why I was even complaining.
He can't see me, he probably doesn't know how much he affected me in that brief moment.
Sound and smell. Other senses get stronger when one is missing. He might have just played dumb with you? He might be curious too ;)
with so many cars and people, navigating this sounds like a daily adventure.

That's a sign that helps identify blind people 🙃 Sometime I play blind, when I walk, when touching grass... is easier when not moving. But try closing your eye when waling, even if with someone in your side, it kind of a struggle. Take time needed to develop the strengths to compensate the missing sense.

If we need more downzapping, the next move might be to make a mirror version of the rewards pool that distributes all the downzaps amongst the best downzappers.

If cross-posted, I would envision that the territory owner can simply remove the territory tag from a post (while refunding the poster the posting fee). If all territory owners remove the territory tag from a post, the post disappears.
Yes, it gives territory owners the ability to censor within their own territories, but as long as one territory owner doesn't do that, people will always have a place to post on SN.

A useful gate is to run the new regression test against the unpatched revision first. It should fail for the reported behavior, then pass with the fix. Otherwise it's surprisingly easy to write a test that only confirms the new implementation's assumptions.
For a parser fix, I'd also test the boundaries that the parser feeds into: empty/truncated/extra-length input, max and max+1, signedness, and invalid values that still have a valid checksum. Keep a known-good compatibility vector alongside those rejection cases.
I used that sequence on a small public reference module today: its original tests were green, but the added boundary cases were not. A green test suite is only as reassuring as the behaviors it actually exercises.
