I would caution everyone not to rely on these theories without checking real world results. Many people have been arrested thinking they had legally shielded themselves after watching youtube videos, including Peter Schiff's father and former New York Mets pitcher Jerry Koosman.

I know you claim that these people bring receipts, but at least Jonah Bey has some issues.

reply

I don't think I kept the receipts but I had the receipts of using a process to set off a tax liability back in 2008. Probably my mother has the receipts, she's a bit of an archivist. Certainly she can corroborate my story. But I would caution to get too excited, it's a lot to learn and I know for sure I don't have the mastery of the grimoire of spells required.

My point in bringing up Schiff and Koosman was to cite examples of people who believed they were on safe footing legally, and then discovered that this statement:

If you follow their rules, they almost always play fair

Is not always the case in a U.S. courtroom.

reply

I'm failing to see how hiding money or refusing to continue your contract equates to thinking you're on safe footing.

All you have to do is read the laws. I posted the IRM citing in another comment as one example.

reply

In Koosman's case, at the time there were self proclaimed tax gurus promoting the Tax Truther notion that "only federal employees, corporate workers and District of Columbia residents" had to pay taxes. If you're interested you can read up on this movement. The Feds used Koosman as an example.

reply

I am very familiar with those arguments and technically they are correct, but you have to actually use the laws to get out of it. You can't just up and decide to stop paying for a bill that you acquiesced to.

reply

You're correct that technically that theory was accurate. That's my point in a nutshell. The Law is what the people in power say it is. In the old days, that meant the Golden Rule:

Those with the gold make the rules.

reply

You're potentially scaring away people, including yourself, for no reason. Thousands have and are using these same laws and rules for decades and have had the courts and the IRS admit they what they're doing is correct and legal.

Using the state in self defense against those who mean you harm is justified.

reply

Whomever has the bigger gun(s) supersedes any law. There are many examples of the government using their bigger guns to supersede the law.

I also think situations like this are why the USA government collects so much data on everyone. There is data they have collected that shows you violated a law that they could use to throw you in jail. If you do something the USA government does not like, they will get that data and throw you in jail. The book "3 felonies a day" talks more about this idea.

reply

Don't be fooled by what you see in the news or in certain books. They are very good at deceiving you with semantics. If you follow the rules, success follows.

reply

No.
Evwrything in this world works under the contract law.
But only if you know where to position yourself.

If you put yourself in the citizen position, then you MUST obey those laws. You are the employee of the state.

If you put yourself in the sovereign position, as a living man respecting the natural law, then there's no contract that can force you to obey yjose state laws. You are not an employee of thr state.

reply

This has nothing to do with that. What you just said is sovereign citizen garbage.

reply

Goid luck being a statist slave.

reply

A statist slave that pays no taxes legally? Ok.

reply

Is still a slave.
Avoiding taxes is also theft. You violate your contract as citizen.

Sovereign do not have to pay taxes in the first place. They do not have to hide or avoid.

What is opposite to sovereign ? Slave.

You don't fight the state.
You simply ignore it, make it obsolete. Why? Because a state do not have any authority or jurisdiction over a sovereign individual.
The sovereign individual is on top of the state not under.

If you want to be my slave, go ahead, so be it. I cannot force you to be a sovereign, is your choice to be a slave.

All those bullshit laws do not apply to me.
Please show me one single proof that a paper named "law" have any authority over me, the living man.

Who gives the authority?
What does it mean "authority"?
Read the etimology of thr word authority.

All those laws apply only over persons, not living men.
A person is a citizen, a dead body, a corporation.
I am not a corporation. I am a living man.

reply

As true as that may be, good luck using those arguments in court or in front of a LEO. You will be a laughing stock while they put you in cuffs and throw you in jail.

Stick to running Bitcoin nodes.

Hey @DarthCoin I am at the border trying to get out of the country without a passport because a passport is some slave citizen bullshit I don't need to obey.

I'm telling them I'm a sovereign individual and that I didn't sign any contract to be enslaved. They won't let me pass. I could run, maybe, but there are many men with guns. Can you teach me what to do in this situation?

reply

No. You are not a sovereign.
You are just a dumb slave troll.
Go back to your slave cage.

reply

I am not a troll, I was trolling you this one time. The point here is to show you that you live in the world of theory, not in the real world.

I would love moving across countries without a passport but sometimes we got to accept things as bad as they are. Or even better, as OP suggests, use their stupid laws against them.

You're not dumb but you're not helping the perception of your intelligence when you write these grumpy stubborn posts.

reply

You have no idea about what am I talking about.
Your lack of knowledge is disturbing.

reply

How do I cross the border? Enlighten me

reply

You can't enlighten blind dumb slaves.
They deserve to be slaves.
You enlighten yourself when you will be ready and your mind will not be anymore programmed by your masters.

reply

You have no practical answers so all you do is insult.

Unconventional asymmetrical comparison systems must be used. It would be foolish to play a game in which the rules have been written by those you want to beat....

reply

And yet, it works.

reply

If you try to use legal strategies to deal with those who change the laws to suit their own interests, you are a loser before you start. And this unfortunately does not only apply to bitcoiners...

reply

It's hilarious that you've dismissed this so quickly. Stop watching the news, bud. It's all lies. Thousands of us have had a multitude of successes with everything I mentioned in my post. It's been working for decades and continues to work to this day.

reply

I think it is a very important subject to understand. Since it has been loudly proclaimed by the US federal government that Bitcoin is a commodity, trading with it is considered to be barter. While there is also the factor of the psychos in charge riding their privilege there is another part where you are treated as a sovereign, and where this is useful, I think it should be exploited.

Gathering together with like minded people will help too, at least building a local network wherever you are. Something I'm not so keen on this last decade lol. But maybe I'll take my own advice.
