If you would have asked me six months ago I would have probably said a few of the wallets already mentioned in other replies. Now though, as things evolve and better solutions are developed I think my favorite would have to be Blixt Wallet https://blixtwallet.github.io/ I recommend it to anyone getting started with LN. A few months ago I would recommend a starter wallet then when they got comfortable with that I'd recommend another. No need anymore, just get Blixt Wallet and you're good. All the basic stuff then all the advanced stuff when ready, no real need for multiple wallets. Also if they are running a node and looking to open some channels then it really becomes a no brainer to have Blixt Wallet, without it you are just asking for trouble at some point in the future since Blixt Wallet is also a mobile node that you can restore to if/when shit hits the fan on your other node.
