So after buying the entire villages sats at a discount I wanted to spend them. I transferred the funds to my Blue wallet when they had lighting thinking bitcoin is bitcoin well not to mi gente it aint. Bitcoin are Chivo dollars.

There was a supermarket in my village that use to accept bitcoin but stopped right after I tried to pay with an "external wallet" they thought I was trying to scam them 🤣.

I then went to a gas station they had big ass bitcoin logos on the pumps you can see them from a mile away. So I filled up I told the guy im gonna pay with bitcoin then he pulls out that beautiful Chivo dollar QR that I love to see, then i repeated with bitcoin and he tells me this is bitcoin I said no the real one and he tells me that he cant accept it because if the price drops It will be taken from his salary, So I paid in Chivo dollars.

I get to a mall in the city a see a shoe store with the bitcoin logo im like sweet lets get some kicks, they accept bitcoin the real one and lighting but they want to kyc you for using it name ,number, ID number and I told them no self respecting bitcoiner will ever give you this so I walk out, with out shoes

I then went to Walmart and they accept Chivo dollars and onchain no lighting, they like playing the waiting game so I pay onchain like a moron but that not the real issue the guy wanted my signature like as if it was a credit card transaction I refused, the manager had to come and it was a big mess but I walked out with the stuff and without signing, last time I go shoping there.

McDonald's accepts only Chivo dollars even though the have the bitcoin logo on the cash register same with Subway, little Ceaser, Wendy's and Burger king just didnt get the memo that bitcoin is a thing in this country cash ,credit or debit, not even chivo dollars. Now Taco Bell, these guys are super stars. I walk in no bitcoin logo I ask them they say yes we do accept and they go straight to an LN QR by default amazing I was surprised. They us ibex

Now I go to a hardware store that accepts and was notified the the Bitcoin network was down 🤣 I panicked.
