I'm not clear on whether SN itself is going to allow for the creation of different boards as per subreddits, but I'm very confident that eventually there will be a family of sites running the SN software, bc the paradigm is just too good.

The only question (to me) is whether they're under the SN umbrella, as per reddit, or if it's just different people running the same code, as per Discourse. (Or Discord.)

There exists a world outside Bitcoin and Crypto ;) I might be so bold as to say it's critical for universal adoption. The, say, knitting version of sn will be rewarding each other with Bitcoin and they won't even know or care.

We could set a flag on the item that indicates delete scheduled. We could also just parse for delete directives client side since it’s a common JS function, though that’s not a guarantee it was successfully scheduled

Ah yes, there isn't a lot of discussion in the Github ticket but we discussed internally that we want to use NIP-44 for DMs. So yes, DMs are waiting for NIP-44 to get audited.
